“My husband and I were very excited to go on the tour visit to Hungary, Croatia and Montenegro to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Those two weeks were amazing and the tour was very well organized. On our arrival, we visited Budapest which was every bit as stunning as we thought it would be, with its beautiful architecture and rich history. We then hit the road to Croatia passing along the Lake Balaton to the vibrant and dynamic Zagreb where we had a great time. As a nature lover, my husband was amazed by the Plitvice Lakes National Park with its 16 limpid lakes tumbling into each other in a series of waterfalls. We stopped there on the way to Zadar where we had delicious local cheese and charcuterie, to my delight!

But my personal favourite place was definitely Dubrovnik! No wonder this UNESCO world heritage site is considered as one of the world’s most splendid walled cities. The charming pedestrian-only old town, elegant Baroque churches, medieval fortifications, plus the beaches and the pristine sea make it a striking place. From there, we boarded the luxurious cruise ship and started cruising the Adriatic Sea. It was very relaxing and yet, there was so much to see: Mljet, Korcula, Sibenik, the beautiful Trogir set within medieval walls on a tiny island, Hvar… Kotor, in Montenegro, set in its spectacular bay, is also an enchanting place where the past coexists with the present.

We really enjoyed our time on the ship, the food was delicious and there were fun evenings every night, there was absolutely no time to be bored. The visits were well guided and we were well taken care of by the team. We have seen so much in those few days, it gave us such a different perspective of Europe. We will never forget this amazing trip!”
